1. Couldn’t help but notice how they separated the candidates. The Democratic and Republican candidates sat at a table together, and the 3 Independent candidates sat at another table. Sort of a “political segregation” as though the Independents had leprosy.

   Probably Charlie Baker and Scott Lively got the most from this debate – albeit each from a different segment of the voters. Baker may have added to the points he needs to win, and Lively won a few more votes from conservative Christians who may give him more votes in the General Election than the other Independent candidates.

   At least all the candidates got to present their views and it is a shame serious 3rd party and Independent candidates are left out of most other debates.

   MONTEREY CALIFORNIA USA – A national “Unity Coalition” of thirty-five State and Federal political candidates organized under the unifying all party (and independents) voting system of pure American proportional representation (PR) is working for the common good of all USA residents.
