Peter Franklin, a British politics analyst, here foresees rapid change in the British political party system. Already, the Scottish National Party has made great gains in the last few months, as has the Green Party. Better known is the rapid rise of UKIP, and the decline of the Liberal Democratic Party. Franklin sees further changes ahead.
The consequences of these dramatic changes make it likely that Britain will do as New Zealand did some years ago, and switch to proportional representation, or at least think about it seriously. If that happens, Canada may follow.
How about ALL of the ex-Brit gerrymander areas —

Obviously, Peter Franklin knows more of the internal British politics than I. But I don’t see the UKIP merging into a stronger half of a British Two Party System as he seems to suggest. At least I hope the UKIP will not.
We need a “USIP” (for the lack of a more formal name) which too will stress U.S. Independence. This country is dying from globalism, which includes outsourcing American jobs, and allowing this nation to become “Balkanized” as Pat Buchannan once wrote.
The United States needs to become an “autarky” nation, and it has the technology, the resources, and the manpower to become such. Problem is, too many businesses see more profits by outsourcing, using cheap labor, and appear to care less of what happens to this nation, as long as their portfolios remain fat.
