Charles County, Maryland Republican Party Supports Inviting Independent Voters to Vote in Republican 2016 Primary

  1. Would be a smart move on the part of the GOP. However, how many registered Independents are they in Maryland? And how much of the GOP’s basic principles are they hwilling to give up, to not only lure Independents into participating in the Primary, but remain loyal to them in the General Election?

    I thought there was a Maryland Independent Party? Have they gone out of existence?
