On Thanksgiving Day, November 27, U.S. District Court Judge Cindy Jorgenson issued a 15-page ruling denying relief to Democratic Congressman Ron Barber. Barber and some voter plaintiffs had complained that certain provisional ballots had not been counted and should have been counted. See this story. The case is Barber v Bennett, 4:14cv-2489.
The fifteen page decision discusses Bush v Gore and finds that the case is properly in federal court. But it says, “Plaintiff’s allegation of irreparable harm is speculative at this juncture. Even if all 133 votes are counted, it is undisputed that Martha McSally wins the election because she leads by a margin of 161 votes at this time.” Thanks to Rick Hasen for the link to the ruling.
Arizona is famous for finding a way to un-elect elected candidates. Case in point, Governor Evan Mecham. Watch your back, Congressman Barber.
Also politicians that try and manipulate votes to gain an advantage in a midterm election. And to those incumbents that push to add illegal votes to a recount is admitting to crimes.
If there is sufficient evidence that illegal aliens were voting, there should definitely be a re-count, just to prove if illegal aliens were being allowed to vote – regardless of which candidate wins.
And then the election officials – if they knew the illegal alien was not eligible to vote – should be charged with the appropriate crime.
We are a nation of laws – not of mischief.

The subject is about illegal votes not illegal aliens. These are voters that were never registered, convicted felons voting, voting outside a precinct, forging signatures for a registered voter and using deceased persons’ names to vote. Now…if the liberals have been relying on illegal aliens for their respective candidates, well, that is another subject. Sure didn’t help them in this past election that’s for sure.
