U.S. Senate Passes Bill that Increases Contribution Limits from Individuals to Political Party National Committees

On December 13, the U.S. Senate passed the bill that increases the amount of contributions individuals may give to national committees of political parties. See this story. The bill now goes to President Obama, who has already said he will sign it.

  1. I would be interested in knowing whether this new provision only applies to Republicans and Democrats, or to the national committees of any political party.
