Ashcroft Poll Shows British Greens Outpolling Liberal Democrats; Outcome is Relevant for Debate Inclusion Controversy

On January 19, Lord Ashcroft Polls, one of Great Britain’s leading pollsters, released a poll for the May 2015 House of Commons election. It shows 11% for the Green Party, but 9% for the Liberal Democratic Party. This outcome will aid the Green Party in its fight to be included in at least one of the national debates. 1. Wow! I guess being a junior coalition partner did not work out well for the unholy alliance of Liberals and Social Democrats.

  2. No… I mean it didn’t work out well between the Liberal Party of David Lloyd-George and the Social Democratic Party splinter from Labour. The Alliance flopped and then they made it permanent by consolidating parties. The Liberals would have been better off to remain a separate party. The Liberal Democratic Party hybrid has gotten its just reward by going into coalition with the Tories and now heading for oblivion. BTW, there still remains a Liberal Party in the UK of those traditional Liberals who refused to merge with the Social Democrats. Perhaps they will grow now.

  3. P.R. and nonpartisan App.V.

also in the 1066 DARK AGE regime having NO written constitution —
i.e. the EVIL top hacks having both legislative and executive TYRANT powers.

I.E. with P.R. all of the larger voter groups will get some REAL representation in the House of Commons — with the STONE AGE so-called House of *Lords* to be ABOLISHED —
to go to the political graveyard along with the STONE AGE divine right of kings.
