Although the bill was introduced by a Democrat, here in West Virginia, the Republicans who have always opposed the straight ticket now seem indifferent to eliminating in now that they are in power and seemed to benefit from it last November (anti-Obama backlash). Democrats use a rooster for their party symbol. “Pull the rooster tail” was their old instructional message for illiterate voters.
