Republican National Convention Will be July 18-21, 2016

On the evening of January 14, the Republican National Committee confirmed that the party’s next national convention will be July 18-21, 2016, in Cleveland, Ohio. The Democratic Party still hasn’t chosen its dates, nor has it chosen the city. As far as is known, the only other parties that have set a date and location for their 2016 presidential convention are the Libertarian Party and the Prohibition Party. The Libertarian Party will meet in Orlando, Florida, May 26-30, 2016. The Prohibition Party will meet in Helen, Georgia, June 5-7, 2015.

  1. Obviously a major effort to have the Electors try and forget about all the attacks on the winnning Elephant Prez candidate.

    Very good luck.

EVERY second of a Prez candidate’s life is NOW the subject of nonstop attacks by the armies of gangsters working for each of the major party gangs.

The gangsters demand the more and more MONARCHY Power of a Prez == Gee thanks SCOTUS — for creating Prez MONSTERS from Hell since 1789.

  2. I don’t often agree with Demo Rep, however he has a point with his third paragraph. Plus, not only that he can add the media hounds. One US Senator said he told five other senators, both D and R, they should run for president. All five of them said no because “the way the media treats the candidates, it’s just not worth it.”

  3. I got an e-mail saying the Prohibition Party has chosen its national convention dates and city. The e-mail says the convention will be June 5-7, presumably 2015, in the resort town of Helen, Georgia. But this is not on the party’s web page so I’m not sure if it’s true.

  4. They should extend their convention to June 10 so they can hold their nomination on, appropriately for their mascot, Wednesday – hump day. Que the stupid Geico commercial… or not.

  5. With Jerry Brown and Dianne Feinstein vigorously upholding California’s prohibition of marijuana, the Prohibition Party has a new opportunity in this era to extend the concepts set forth by Brown and Feinstein to another drug.
