Paperwork Error Keeps Democratic Nominee off Ballot in May 5 Special New York Legislative Election

New York is holding a special election on May 5 to fill the vacancy in the Assembly, 43rd district. In New York special elections, there are no primaries, and party committees choose nominees. On March 1, the Democratic Kings County Committee members who live in the 43rd district nominated Guillermo Philpotts. However, he failed to submit his Certificate of Nomination by the March 2 deadline.

As a result, it is likely that this overwhelmingly Democratic district will have nominees from these parties on the ballot: Republican, Conservative, Working Families, Independence, Green, and a single independent candidate. The candidate of the Independence Party will be Shirley Patterson, who is a Democrat and who had sought the Democratic nomination. The candidate of the Working Families and Green Parties will be Diane Richardson, another Democrat who had tried and failed to get the Democratic nomination. These two are considered the front-runners.

Also running is Menachem Raitport, who has the nomination of the Republican and Conservative Parties, and independent candidate Geoffrey Davis, whose ballot label is “Love Yourself.” The deadline for independent petitions is March 4, so conceivably there could be other independent candidates.

Here is the New York State Board of Elections web page
, showing deadlines for this special election. The 43rd district is centered on Crown Heights. In November 2014, the vote for Assembly in this district was: Democratic 13,631; Working Families 1,539; Conservative 654. No Republican ran in 2014. Here is a newspaper story about the race.

  1. The article states that Diane Richardson will be on the Working Families and Green Party line.

She will not be on the Green Party line. When she accepted the WFP line she violated Green Party of New York rules which does not permit “cross endorsements” of candidates running on the duopoly line or parties which cross endorse those parties. Therefore there will be no Green candidate.

  2. But will the New York State Board of Elections pay any attention to the Green Party rules? If the paperwork got filed saying she got the Green nomination, and then the party revoked her nomination, what happens?

  3. Certainly they will because, in this case, we use state rules to void the nomination.

Diane Richardson is not an enrolled Green so the process would be.
    1) Nomination Paper from the Green meeting
    2) Candidate Acceptance Paper
    3) Party Authorization (Wilson Pakula) giving her permission to run as Green by non Green enrollee (this is state law).

The Green Party simply does not file the Authorization which invalidates the Nomination and Acceptance.

Basically Local Green Party officers saw the filed WFP paperwork and simply didn’t file the Authorization so she doesn’t get the Green line.

That’s why it pays to wait until the deadline to file paperwork in NY.

  4. You can count on it that this “error” will be corrected – unless the candidate is a “no-person” as far at the controllers of American in their World Government To prevent mass revolt by the Black citizenry, they will find a “stand in” candidate to calm the citizenry.

Folks, I am waking up more than I ever have. The Alex Jones Live internet show has opened my eyes like never before. The Globalist are here whether you want to believe or not. They will only permit 3rd parties to exist if they feel the 3rd party will work to their advantage – like splitting the “conservative” vote and electing a Liberal who supports the Globlists agenda,or, if necessary, splitting the “liberal” vote to be sure their candidate representing the Globlists will be elected.

This has nothing to do with being Black or anti-Black or being White or being anti-White. They don’t care what color of the skin you were born with. It is what is inside your brain that is all that is important to them.

It’s time we set aside our difference on other issues and realize that national sovereignty is THE issue.

  5. If Mr. Guillermo Philpotts is the establishment candidate, you can rest assured that they will find a loop in the law to allow him to get on the ballot. All it takes is a Judge who favors the establishment to order his name be placed on the ballot, using some excuse that a minor oversight of paperwork should not deprive the voters the opportunity to support Mr. Philpotts.

Remember, the One World Establishment controls elections in this nation today. If you have sold your soul out to these anti-God, Christ-hating groups, you can get them to move mountains. And keep in mind, they work both side of the court. They will move mountains for a Republican just as they will for a Democrat. Power and Control – is the objective, political label are not important.

This is why I plead with all true Patriots to join together in a Independent Party and use the current system to destroy the establishment where we have opportunity to do so. Just as the Sons of Liberty, had to hide their identities in the 1770’s, we too will have to use monikers to protect our hides, but important, to protect our families and children. There are thugs out there who have no conscience who will for a few thousand dollars, knock you off, so to shut you up, hoping it will sent a message too other Patriots.

Patriots, be ware! Watch your back!

  6. The courts often play the game of *substantial compliance with the LAW* — esp. in election law stuff.

  7. I’m a Green.
I’d vote for Richardson if I lived in the district.

I actually think this is pretty cool.

I think many Democrats will vote for the Republican.

  8. Geoffrey A Davis is a democrat and extremely popular in the 43rd. His independent status makes him the favorite
